Chrissy Teigen, an American model and TV personality, has revealed she is expecting her fourth child with well-known singer John Legend.
On Wednesday, Teigen posted images of her growing baby bump and bruises from IVF injections on her leg to her Instagram page.
The caption she added read, “The last few years have been, to put it mildly, a blur of emotions, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.”
She added, “One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as you can see!) we have another on the way.”
Teigen revealed that she had been keeping the news to herself based on her experience with her immediate past pregnancy.
The model said, “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.

“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
The model suffered the miscarriage of her third child named Jack, in September 2020.
In a heart-wrenching and controversial Instagram post, Teigen had given details of how the couple lost the pregnancy.
Diagnosed with partial placenta abruption, she was admitted to the hospital after persistent bleeding, and given multiple blood transfusions which unfortunately did not save the baby.
