Ademola Lookman, a winger for the Super Eagles, has outlined why leaving RB Leipzig for Atalanta was “an easy decision.”
After spending the previous season on loan at Leicester City, the 24-year-old completed his transfer on Thursday for a price of €9m plus performance-related bonuses.
Lookman described himself as “explosive, exciting,” adding that he enjoys scoring goals and creating opportunities for others to do the same.
“I’m happy to be here, it’s been a long time in terms of knowing the interest of the club, how interested they were in me and now I’m just ready to get to work.
“I think for me the platform Serie A is amazing, it’s a massive club in Italy and plays attacking, great football, so for me it was an easy decision to make really.”

The Nigeria international, born in London, assures his characteristics are ideal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s all-attack style of football.
“I’d say I am explosive, exciting, like to score goals, like to set up goals, like to make things happen.”
Primarily a left-sided winger, he can also play as a support striker or on the right side of attack.
