AFIAOLU NNEWI: Nnewi Traditional Ruler Rejects Gifts From Senator Ifeanyi Ubah (Photos)

A traditional ruler from one of the communities in Nnewi has rejected gifts from Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Anaedoonline.ng has confirmed.

The incidence took place at the palace of Obi Uruagu, Afam Obi (Ogidi IV) during his new yam festival celebration, which saw many dignitaries at the palace who came to pay homeage to the young leader.

The Senator Ifeanyi Ubah entourage led by the Nnewi North Young Progressive Partry (YPP) Chairman, came with different gifts ranging from tubers of yam, bags of rice, three motor bikes, two cows and a cash gift was immediately rejected by the Obi Uruagu and his cabinet chiefs.

This incidence is believed to be connected to the suspension and the media trial of suspended TC Chairman of Nnewi North local government, Mr. Mbazulike Iloka.

Recall that the Obi of Okpuno Uruagu Nnewi, Obi Afam Iloka has called out Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone over social media attack on the suspended Nnewi North Local Government Chairman, Mbazulike Iloka.

The death of Lady Chidiebere Iloka was reported with many unconfirmed stories suggesting her death was a case of domestic violence and her husband, Mr Mbazulike Iloka (Mba Mba) responsible for her death.
