Bishop Matthew Kukah of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto is a few months older than Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate.
Yesterday, during Bishop Kukah’s 70th birthday celebration, Tinubu made a speech.
He praised Kukah for his good deeds and emphasized that he knew the foundation the minister was laying.
They both have a greater duty to build Nigeria, according to Tinubu.

According to Tinubu: “You are building an institution in the honour of your 70, I am 70 too I could still contribute. I am just months older than you are.
“But Bishop, you will help build Nigeria. The greatness of a nation is on your shoulder. It’s on my shoulder, too, and we must build it together.
“I must, and I will contribute handsomely and personally to build and see to the completion of that institution.”
Tinubu’s age has generated debate throughout the years.
Despite the fact that some Nigerians think Tinubu is older than 80 years old, the APC presidential contender argues that he is only 70.
