The request for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to withdraw from the 2023 presidential race has received a response from Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communications.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), was persuaded to run against Tinubu and Atiku, the candidates for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), respectively.
In an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday, legendary actor Kenneth Okonkwo made the call.
2023: See What Peter Obi Said About His Plans For Nigeria In Diaspora
According to Okonkwo, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has the answers to Nigeria’s problems.
He asserts that every Nigerian, including terrorists, is responsible for the country’s existence because everyone is looking for a solution.
He asserted that Peter Obi is Nigerians’ sole means of escape and that everyone must follow suit.
When given the opportunity, Kenneth said he would ask Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to withdraw their candidacies in favor of the former governor of Anambra state.
Ahmad responded to the request on Friday by mocking the idea on Twitter.
