Aisha Yesufu, a well-known social critic and activist from Nigeria, has launched the “Do more for Obi challenge” and is asking with Nigerians to join her in supporting Peter Obi’s campaign.
There is no time to rest until after the election is over, said Yesufu, urging Obi’s followers to intensify their support for him.
The social critic, who also strongly backs Peter Obi, recently urged Nigerians to reject ineffective politicians and support competence in the general elections of 2023.
Yesufu announced in a brief video that she will be doing three videos every day on Obi’s presidential campaign as part of her contributions. The video was released on her verified Twitter account.
“She said in the video: Hello, everyone. I don’t know what to say. Let me just start with this. I want to challenge myself, I want to do a challenge: “do more for Obi challenge.
“I am looking at myself and say, what is it that I am already doing for Peter Obi? I need to do more, I need to up it. I cannot seat down and begin to think that, oh, I am doing so much. No. so I am asking you: will you be joining me? Would you like to join me?
“Do more for Obi challenge” just simply says whatever it is that you are doing right now, can you add something to it? It might be a little bit of something that you might add or it might be something huge you might be adding to it.
“For example every day I do two videos directly, one for the rundown to the election countdown and then the other directly on peter obi’s campaign. I think I might add another video, yes I will do that.
“And I will look for other things and add more. So That’s one more video, three videos that I will do from now till the election”.
“What is it that you can add to what you are already doing .you are already doing amazing things. But guess what? We cannot allow what we are doing now to look big in our eyes. We must add more. We must not feel that we are doing so much, otherwise little by little we start resting. There is no time to rest. We can do that after the election by the grace of God. But Right now it is for us to do more. So please join me in the do more for Obi challenge thank you”.
