On social media, some Nigerians have voiced their discontent with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s 62nd Independence Day statement.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Osinbajo celebrated the anniversary of Nigeria’s independence by posting images of former leaders with the caption, “The Labor of our heroes past shall never be in vain.”

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike, which has continued for more than seven months, is one of the biggest challenges affecting the nation, and many people were not pleased with the VP’s silence on these matters.
