2023: Bola Tinubu Appoints Wamakko, Masari As Senior Advisers

Governor Aminu Masari of Kastina State has been nominated by All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu as the campaign’s senior adviser on administration and government.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu, a former two-term governor of Lagos State, has named Aliyu Wamakko, a former governor of Sokoto State, to the position of Senior Adviser for Special Duties.

In a letter on Sunday that was signed by the APC presidential candidate, the pair’s appointment was announced.

According to Tinubu, Masari and Wamakko were suitable for the position due to their outstanding political accomplishments and leadership among party members in respective states.

The letter read: “By way of this letter we are pleased to formally convey your appointment as the Special Adviser on Administration and Government of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council.

“This appointment is fitting and appropriate given your impressive political achievement and the exemplary leadership you have demonstrated as governor of your state and as a party member.

“We are grateful that you have joined our campaign team, we know you will do your utmost in this new responsibility.”

Tinubu expressed optimism that the governor of Katsina would assist the party in running a successful message-driven campaign that would result in a victory in the 2023 presidential election.

He claimed that by working together, the council will guarantee the party’s success in the general elections in February 2023 and assist it in leading Nigeria toward greatness as a nation.

The former governor claimed that they would accomplish this by building on the accomplishments of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration in delivering Nigerians with good progressive governance.
