Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress (AAC), has denounced the attack in Lagos on Peter Obi’s Labour Party (LP) supporters.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, @ObiFlagboy described how he was viciously attacked by thugs on Monday while making a usual trip to support his favored candidate in the Oshodi neighborhood of Lagos State.
He claims that when they walked outside as normal to display the #ObiDatti flag, the hoodlums attacked, poured fire on them, and descended upon them for no apparent reason. Their phones were also broken.

He went on to say that a uniformed guy tried to step in, but his cries were ignored as the thugs beat them with the iron rod that held up the flag.
Sowore responded to the incident on Twitter on Sunday night, pleading with the Nigeria Police and the Department of Public Prosecution to take control of the issue and press charges against anyone who may have been responsible.
No Nigerian person, in Sowore’s opinion, deserves to be treated with such brutality because of their political preferences.
Sharing the videos of the young men, Sowore wrote; ”These are @NgLabour supporters of @PeterObi attacked and brutalised by @OfficialAPCNg supporters in lagos. It is criminal to subject any Nigerian citizen to this level of cruelty over their political choices @PoliceNG must prosecute them accordingly.”
