Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has received the support of Nnewi women towards his quest to represent Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency.
The lawmaker who represents Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly received the support today, Saturday 8th October, 2022, during the end-of-the-year meeting of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi Women, Home and Abroad.
Speaking at the well-attended meeting, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor highlighted that his desire to represent the Federal Constituency is driven by the passion to continue to impact the lives of the people by leveraging on the instrumentality of the legislature.
He noted that some of his projects have focused on women especially in the houses he built for widows, salary scheme he established for widows, and most of the employment he has facilitated in the civil service.
Calling for support, Hon. Smart who is the All Progressive Congress (APC) Candidate, said that although he has changed party, his personality has not changed, noting that he is attuned and in tune with the challenges and problems of the Federal Constituency.
Appreciating Nonso Okafor for his continuous support, the President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi Home and Abroad, Hon. Mrs. Udeogu Peace Ifeoma on behalf of the women expressed support for the ambition of the seasoned lawmaker.
