Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has urged young people in Nigeria to support qualified candidates in the general election of 2023.

He asserts that unless committed Nigerians take control of their political futures, the fight to save Nigeria from its current predicament won’t materialize.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the human rights attorney said it is regrettable that the nation is in this predicament because it is being led by politicians that lack morals and integrity.

Fala emphasized that one of Nigeria’s problems is poor leadership, thus young Nigerians should vote for leaders with competence and capability in 2023 to help the country out of its troubles. Fala spoke during the 4th convocation of Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos State.

In his lecture titled: “Remaking Nigeria: The Youth as Change-Agents”, Falana said for Nigeria to survive and be useful to its citizens, Africa and humanity, the nation needed to be remade.

Prof. Christopher Odetunde, vice chancellor of Augustine University, advised the graduating students to be frontline leaders in the transformative efforts to rebuild the country.
