The All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer Bola Tinubu has been made fun of by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization for paying Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the former head of the Pan-Yoruba sociocultural organization Afenifere, a visit.
In a meeting in Fasoranti’s house in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, the former Afenifere leader and other organization elders reportedly endorsed Tinubu’s bid for the presidency on Sunday, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
The group’s Secretary-General, Sola Ebiseni, and the acting Afenifere leader, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, weren’t present at the meeting.

Kola Ologbndiyan, a spokesman for the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization, responded to the news by asserting that Tinubu turned to ethnic politics in an effort to deflect attention away from his plagiarized policy document.
According to Ologbondiyan, the APC candidate cannot purchase the Southwest with money in the same manner that he reportedly obtained the presidential ticket for the ruling party.
He admitted that he assisted in the installation of the Muhammadu Buhari administration and declared that the people of the Southwest will hold Tinubu accountable for the issues that have arisen over the last seven years.
He said: “Tinubu ought to know that he cannot sway or buy the South West or any other part of the country the way he procured the APC Presidential ticket; a ticket that has been compared to the Zimbabwean dollar.

“The handlers of the APC Presidential candidate should know that the South West, like other sections of the country, is holding Tinubu directly responsible for the woes the nation has been passing through in the last seven and half years of the APC administration, an administration Asiwaju Tinubu confessed to having helped installed.”
