In response to the tragic news that Ifeanyi David Adeleke, the son of popular Nigerian singer Davido and his fiancée, Chioma, had passed away, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter in Osun state has banned political activity for the coming week.

According to reports, Davido, who is Ademola Adeleke’s cousin and the incoming governor of Osun state, lost his son yesterday night after he drowned in a pool at his Banana Island home in Lagos state.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the Osun PDP expressed regret over the occurrence and prayed with the family for God to comfort them in a statement issued by the party’s acting Osun chairman, Dr. Adekunle Akindele.
