IPOB Mourns Ex-Air Force Minister Mbazluike

Biafra’s indigenous leadership on Wednesday said Ndigbo’s words were well-meaning, mourning the death of the late First Republic’s Aviation Minister Amaechi Mbazluike.

The group said it would not soon forget the role the late Igbo leader played in ensuring the country’s liberation from colonialism, and he said that their leader Nnamdi He added that he has continued to campaign for Kanu’s release.Igbo has fought the State Department.

IPOB’s director of media and public relations Emma Powerful released her statement on Wednesday in a statement published on her ANAEDOONLINE.NG.

The statement read in part, “We the global movement and family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), under the command and leadership of our great Prophet and indefatigable liberator, Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, commiserate with the family of the great icon and elder statesman, Chief Dr. Amaechi Mbazuluike, who transited to the world beyond on the night of Monday, November 1, 2022.

“IPOB family worldwide and entire Biafrans mourn the lost of an icon, who stood solidily for the better life of all Biafrans. IPOB will not forget the struggle and achievements of this Icon during the liberation struggle of Nigeria from the colonial masters.

“Again, IPOB worldwide will not forget the effort of our father towards the release of our great liberator, Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, who was kidnapped from Kenya to Nigeria by the Federal Government. Inspite of his age and failing health, he led Igbo elders on a visit to Aso Rock Abuja, to plead with the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as his last wish.

“Chief Dr. Amaechi Mbazuluike was the only living icon that fought for the independence of Nigeria in 1960 and remained strong until today, when God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama), called him in his bossom.

“We ask the God Almighty, Chukwu Okike Abiama, to give the family of Chief Mbazuluike, the fortitude to bear the lost, because Ndigbo have lost an Iroko tree…an Iroko that stood for the truth always they cannot see again.”
