Drake, the Canadian musician, has suffered a financial loss as a result of Israel Adesanya’s defeat over Brazilian Alex Pereira in the early hours of Sunday.
According to sources, Drake bet CA$2,000,000 on the Nigerian mixed martial artist in the hopes of winning CA$2,900,000, but Adesanya was knocked out just minutes before the finish of the fight.
Pereira, with clear orders from his corner to knock out the ‘Last Stylebender,’ did just that, handing Adesanya his first defeat in the category and the Brazilian his third.
