Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, has warned the South-East not to ignore Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Tinubu warned “South-East corporate and political leaders to ignore Hope Uzodimma at their peril.”
He gave the warning during a town hall meeting with the South-East private sector in Owerri on Thursday.
Tinubu guaranteed the region that if elected president, he will help them.
The APC flagbearer urged Nigerians to vote for progress and to be a part of the country’s golden future, and to never allow those who have pushed the country backwards to return.
He said: ”I am coming to serve the people and not to be their boss. I brought progressive governance and forward-looking government and not the type that will take Nigerians backwards.”
He vowed to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive if elected president.
“We will develop a code that when activated, will make their goods and services easy on the roads of Nigeria,” he said.
