On Sunday, Mrs. Funke Akindele, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Lagos State, expressed her desire to God for a victory in the upcoming general election in 2023.

Akindele, who goes by the stage name Jennifer, left for the Imeko pilgrimage on Saturday in the early hours of Sunday after receiving church prayers.

Imeko, the cherished hometown of the late Pa SBJ Oshoffa, the church’s founder, is thought by worshipers to be a hallowed temple where prayers are immediately granted by God, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Imeko (Ogun).
