The only child of the late Elvis Presley, singer-songwriter Lisa Marie-Presley passed away on Thursday after being taken to a hospital in California due to a heart arrest, according to US media. The 54-year-old daughter of Elvis and Michal Jackson’s ex-wife.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE magazine.
“She was the most passionate strong, and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment,” added Presley.

Lisa Marie Presley is the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She played live and released her own CDs in the 2000s. She was present on January 10 when Austin Butler won the 2023 Golden Globe for best actor in a drama for his portrayal of her late father in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.
Following the premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s musical Elvis last year, Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley started going to red carpet events and award shows with cinema stars. Just days before she sadly passed away, Lisa Marie was at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s American home, to celebrate her father’s birth anniversary. Lisa was only nine years old when Elvis passed away in August 1977.
