On Friday night, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), refused to join the General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Paul Enenche, and other gospel ministers at the front roll during a church event.

Earlier, news outlets claimed that the former governor of Anambra state had a town hall meeting with University of Abuja students.

Peter Obi also met with vendors at the famed Banex Plaza in Wuse, Abuja, and urged them to vote for those who will no longer steal their country.

The LP flagbearer informed traders in the plaza that he was the best candidate to lead the country.

Following the sessions, Peter Obi stormed the Dunamis International Worship Center in Abuja, in preparation for the 2023 Nations Worship.

When he was announced at the church event, the audience began cheering and yelling in delight.

Peter Obi was asked to join Paul Enenche and other gospel preachers at the front stage, but he declined, claiming he was content in his current position.

Meanwhile, Akin Osuntokun, the Director-General of the Labour Party’s presidential campaign committee (PCC), stated on Saturday that the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, had a greater chance of winning the February 25 presidential election.

According to Osuntokun, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has diminished the All Progressives Congress (APCchances )’s in the 2023 general elections.

In an interview with the Newsmen, Osuntokun stated that Obi has been largely embraced by Nigerians who want decent administration.

He said, “There are better hopes with Labour Party than there is with the others” adding that “anyone who supports our presidential ticket is doing himself or herself and the country a favour.
