Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has claimed that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike is working for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
Wike has been at odds with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership since losing the party’s presidential nomination to Atiku Abubakar.
The clash with Atiku prompted Wike to demand the resignation of the PDP’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

Wike and the other G-5 governors have stated that the party cannot have the North produce its national chairman and presidential candidate.
They emphasized that for the purpose of balance and justice, the party’s national chairman should be produced by a southerner.
However, Fayose, in a Facebook post wrote: “It’s almost election day. Labour Party (LP) and support groups for Peter Obi need to consolidate in SS, MD (Especially Plateau, Benue), Ondo, Lagos, Kaduna, Taraba. These are the strong regions to get high numbers.
“The SE needs to show its hands massively.
