LAWMA Employees To Receive 20% Pay Raise

The salaries of those employed by the state’s Lagos Waste Management Authority have increased by 20%, according to the Lagos State Government.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni, made this announcement in the State.

ANAEDOONLINE.NG, announces The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, urged waste managers who work under the auspices of the Association of Waste Managers of Nigeria to support the All Progressives Congress by promising them an increase in pay.

LAWMA Reacts On Laying-Off Sweepers Rumour

At a meeting with the sweepers held at LAWMA’s headquarters in Ijora-Olopa, Odumboni announced the raise.

He said the sanitation workers will also be provided with new work tools such as overalls, boots, and personal protective equipment to help them to carry out their tasks successfully.

He disclosed the present administration in the State will provide necessary support for the workers to carry out their roles efficiently.
