Sokoto Deputy Governor Denies Rumoured Resignation From PDP

Manir Dan’Iya, the deputy governor of Sokoto State, has disputed reports that he had resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party.

Aminu Abubakar, the Director of Press at the Deputy Governor’s Office, told our correspondent on the phone that his boss has denied rumours of his resignation from the party.

Aminu, on the other hand, affirmed that the deputy governor is still a genuine member of the PDP in the state and a senatorial candidate for the party in the upcoming general elections.
He urges his supporters, particularly PDP members in the state, to dismiss the letter in circulation, which he describes as the work of his opponents’ imagination.
