Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Aviation Minister, warned on Thursday against any attempt to rig or cancel the “expected victory” of All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
Fani-Kayode issued the warning in response to Ayo Adebanjo, the chairman of the Yoruba socio-political organization Afenifere, who stated that if Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi loses the February 25th poll, there would be a catastrophe.
Adebanjo had warned that if the voters did not vote for Obi in the presidential election, Nigeria would break up.

Adebanjo warned Nigerians to brace themselves for war, explaining that some forces are preparing to replace Obi with Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.
Adebanjo, who said Obi is leading the struggle to free Nigeria from enslavement, also claimed there is a scheme to ensure that another northerner follows President Muhammadu Buhari.
Responding, Fani-Kayode wrote: “Prepare for crisis if Obi doesn’t win”- Baba Ayo Adebanjo
“Baba mi, the only thing that will provoke a crisis is if, after @officialABAT wins, someone attempts to annul or deny him his mandate. Such an act will result in not just a crisis but a monumental & raging conflagration.”
