Nigeria Decides: Peter Obi Beats Tinubu, Atiku in Benue Govt House PU

In the recently concluded presidential and National Assembly elections, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, defeated the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the two Benue House Gate Polling Units.

According to the results from the Government House Arts Theatre Polling Unit 011 released by the Presiding Officer, Bosede Benson, Obi received 137 votes, Atiku received eight votes, and the APC received 59 votes.

Additionally, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, the PDP’s candidate for Benue North West Senatorial District, won in both Polling Units, as did Benjamin Mzondu of the PDP.

Nigeria Decides: Peter Obi Defeats Tinubu, Atiku in David Mark’s Polling Unit

In the Senate election, the LP candidate Mark Gbilah received 53 votes, Gov Ortom of the PDP received 87 votes, and Titus Zam of the APC received 74 votes.

In the House of Representatives elections, Benjamin Mzondu of the PDP received 80 votes, Dickson Tarkighir of the APC received 80 votes, and Jerry Agbe of the LP received 52 votes.

Furthermore, the Presiding Officer, Chindo Jamila, announced that the LP presidential candidate received 42 votes, APC 16 votes, and PDP 6 votes at Government House Protocol Polling Unit 022.

In the senatorial election, the PDP candidate received 25 votes, the LP received 15, and the APC received 22 votes.

The LP received 17 votes in the House of Representatives election, the PDP received 24, and the APC received 20 votes.
