Six days after the presidential election, the Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded 155,472 results from 176, 846 polling units.
This statistic represents 88% of the results from all polling units.
The electronic transmission of results was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
People expected the election results to be posted on Election Day, as INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu promised.
However, INEC was chastised for failing to post results to its viewing platform, prompting a walkout of some party agents on Monday at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.

Checks by our correspondent on Friday revealed that the results of all the polling units were yet to be uploaded on INEC’s website.
According to the Commission, Bola Tinubu, the candidate for the ruling All Progressives Congress, won 8.8 million votes, while main opposition candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi had 6.9 million and 6.1 million votes, respectively.
