Full List Of Bola Tinubu’s 50-man Legal Team Inaugurated For Tribunal Battle

President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu has formally launched a team of 49 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) to defend his election in the presidential election petition tribunal sitting at the Court of Appeal on February 25, 2023.

According to news sources, the inauguration took place at the Ikoyi office of his lead counsel, Chief Wole Olanipekun.

Tinubu told the 50-member team, which would be lead by Olanipekun, that the mission ahead of them is not just about defending his election, but also about preserving democracy.

Tinubu expressed confidence in the team’s capacity to use their abundance of knowledge, experience, and diligence to the defense of popular demands of the Nigerian people.

Tinubu praised the senior counsel for their companionship, fraternity, collegiality, collaboration, and solidarity with the masses.

While speaking, the lead attorney, Olanipekun, urged all members of the team to remember that the mission at hand is grave and serious, and that they must carry it out with all of their competence.

He indicated that as far as the law is concerned, the team is prepared to extract, disentangle, and unearth any legal authority, no matter where it may be concealed in the world, in order to carry out Tinubu’s instructions.

Also, in attendance at the meeting were the All Progressives Congress’ legal adviser, Ahmad El-Marzuq, Life Bencher, and Festus Keyamo (SAN).

Other members of the Tinubu’s legal team who are all SANs are Chief Akin Olujimi, Emmanuel Ukala, Chief Afolabi Fashanu, Prof. Konyinsola Ajayi, Prof. Taiwo Osipitan, Tani Molajo, Tayo Oyetibo, Mike Igbokwe, Bayo Adelodun, Oladele Adesina, Oladipo Okpeseyi, Lawal Pedro, Chukwuma Ekomaru, Olasupo Shasore, Abiodun Owonikoko, Adesegun Ajibola, Solomon Umoh, Tunde Busari, Prof. Dakas Dakas, Ogwu James Onoja, Prof. J. Olukayode Olatoke, Chief Hakeem Afolabi and Dr. Muiz Banire.

The rest are Oladapo Olanipekun, A.U Mustapha, Chief Yomi Aliyu, Olusola Oke, Kehinde Ogunwumiju, Bode Olanipekun, Prof Lawan Yusufari, Anthony Malik, Babatunde Ogala, Funmi Quadri, Remi Olatubora, Kunle Adegoke, Abdul Mohammed Rafindadi, Chief Anthony Adeniyi, Marcel Oru, M.A Abubakar, Said Sanusi, Adebayo Mutalubi Ojo, Hanafin Mumin and Prince Lukman Fagbemi.
