The death of Dean Emeritus, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Maxwell Anikwenwa, has been characterized as a great loss to the Christian community and mankind at large by the Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Council Area, Engr Chris Obiorah.
In expressing his condolences to the Anikwenwa family and the Anglican community in Nnewi, Anambra State, and Nigeria, Engr Obiorah stated that Archbishop Anikwenwa lived a life worthy of emulation and should be remembered for his legacy.
According to Engr Obiorah, who declared this in Nnewi, the late Archbishop Anikwenwa made his imprint in the service of God and humanity, and he died a fulfilled Priest.
His Grace, the Most Reverend Maxwell Chukwunwike Anikwenwa, was a Dean Emeritus of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Archbishop Emeritus of Province II and Niger Province, and Pioneer Bishop of the Diocese of Awka.
