Unidentified gunmen are said to have kidnapped an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Rivers State.
According to reports acquired by Newsmen on Thursday morning, Amadi Osaronu, the APC secretary for the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, was abducted from his home in Aluu on Wednesday by thugs dressed in police uniforms.

“No amount of intimidation and arm-twisting will change the outcome of the March 18, which would be a resounding defeat for the Peoples Democratic Party,” the State APC Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, told Newsmen while confirming the incident on Thursday morning.
