According to news reports, the alleged terrorists were apprehended on December 9, 2022.

The DSS, on the other hand, charged them with terrorism and kidnapping in court yesterday.

Emmanuel Zamba, the prosecution’s attorney, informed the court that the DSS had submitted a motion ex parte dated March 15 in relation to the action, which included a five-paragraph affidavit.

He charged the suspects with violating sections 2 and 3 of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act of 2022.

Zamba said: “We are praying for an order of this honourable court to detain the defendants in the custody of the Nigeria correctional service for 30 days pending the determination of the suit.”
