The Labour Party, LP, has threatened to mobilize rallies around Nigeria, saying that election results are being falsified by the opposition in Abia and Enugu States.
On Sunday, the party’s national chairman, Julius Abure, issued a statement to that effect.
According to Abure, followers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia state have kidnapped some Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials in Obingwa LGA.

The Labour Party also accused the PDP in Enugu of interfering with the governorship election results.
“The Labour Party had thoroughly reviewed all infractions and we have vowed to never again allow the use of foul means to usurp power as it was done in the past and merely ask us to go to court.
“If this is not addressed, we will be left with no choice other than to mobilise Obidients all over the country to take over the streets across the length and breadth of the country,” the statement read in part.
