Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for president in the recently held elections, has insisted that no one can make him leave Nigeria.

Remember that Obi had claimed that certain unknown people were putting pressure on him to leave the nation or risk being arrested for treason.

The former governor of Anambra State declared on Thursday that the Labour Party is dedicated to building a new Nigeria while speaking at the Onitsha Holiday Resort in Onitsha.

He claims that there are too many “thieves” who are causing pain to the majority of people.

He declared that his party is dedicated to removing these thieves from the political system of the nation and emphasized that he would not give up until they were shown the door of the country’s political positions.

“There is too much suffering in this country, and, that is what we, in Labour Party, are fighting to end. There are many thieves in the country. So, Labour Party is fighting to create a new Nigeria. I am here with you, and nobody is going to force me to leave Nigeria,” Peter Obi said.

Victor Afam Ogene, the party’s nominee for the House of Representatives in Saturday’s special election in Ogbaru, Anambra State, is dedicated to Peter Obi’s vision of reconstructing the nation, according to Peter Obi.

Remember how Ogene was leading other candidates before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ruled the Ogbaru Federal Constituency poll inconclusive?

Obi urged his followers in the region to support Ogene in the Saturday supplementary election while speaking to the public during a roadshow campaign tour of the wards in the Ogbaru Federal Constituency.

According to the previous governor of Anambra, Ogene is a deserving candidate who would see to it that Ogbaru’s growth was not neglected. He is modest, devoted, and honest.
