Nyesome Wike, the governor of Rivers State, cannot be expelled from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to suspected anti-party conduct, according to the Federal High Court in Abuja.
At today’s court hearing, Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo stopped the PDP’s national leadership from also suspending Simi Fubara, the incoming governor of Rivers State, for the same alleged offenses against the party.

Justice Ekwo stated in his ruling on Tuesday in two different lawsuits brought against the PDP that any organization created by law must follow the due process of law when addressing legal concerns.
