Kano Drug Dealer Arrested For Killing Mother

Ibrahim Musa, 22, has been detained by the Kano State Police Command on suspicion of killing his mother Hajara, 50, with a knife.

At the Rimin Kebbe Quarters in Kano State’s Nassarawa Local Government Area, the incident took place.

Ibrahim Musa, 22, was apprehended at a criminal hideout in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State, on May 4, 2023, around 10 p.m., after fatally stabbing his biological mother, 50, at Rimin Kebbe Quarters, Nassarawa LGA, Kano State, according to the state police spokesman, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, who confirmed his arrest to journalists on Friday.

“The suspect, who confessed to committing the crime, also admitted to dealing in illicit drugs. He will be charged on completion of investigation.”

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Gumel, had on Wednesday deployed a crack team of police officers to arrest Ibrahim after he allegedly stabbed his mother to death during a disagreement.
