A Nigerian chef named Hilda Baci is attempting to break the current Guinness World Record held by Indian chef Lata Tondon, for which Nigerians have apologized.
According to newsmen, Baci turned on her cooker at 4 p.m. on May 11, 2023, to kick off the tournament.
Hilda wants to beat Lata Tondon’s record of 87 hours and 45 minutes, which she broke in 2019.
Some Nigerians descended on Lata’s Instagram page in response to her performance thus far in the tournament and left derogatory remarks.

However, after the Indian chef commended Hilda on her determination and gave her a note, others scowled and apologized to her.
