Bola Tinubu’s inauguration would take place on May 29 regardless of the opposition’s complaints, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, has threatened.
The king issued the warning on Wednesday in Abuja during a roundtable discussion with traditional and religious leaders.
He said, “Everyone should know that a new administration would take over on May 29 “whether they like it or not.”

He then urged the populace to pray that the new administration will successfully run the nation’s affairs.
The World Bank arranged the seminar to devise a strategy for boosting the country’s human capital development, particularly the education of girls.
The Sultan said, “There must be change because in the next few days or weeks there will be a new government, what can we contribute to that government to stabilize?
“Whether anybody likes it, it must take place, a new government is coming on 29 May, so what can we do besides prayers because we believe in Almighty, we believe in God that gives and takes.
“After that so what? What do we do to help the government stabilize and move the country forward?”

He continued by saying that it is a chance for traditional and religious leaders to collaborate for the benefit of the nation.
