Former speechwriter for former US president George Bush, Michael Johns, Israeli military general Brig.-Gen. (res.) Amir Avivi, the creator of the IDSF, and many other influential figures have backed popular Biafra agitator and separatist Mazi Simon Ekpa.
The self-described Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, a lawyer based in Finland, claims that the growing international interest in Biafra is a clear sign that its referendum is about to take place.
He praised Donald Trump’s announcement on the American presidential election of 2024.
Trump’s second coming, he said, will put many of the world’s crumbling barriers right.

Ekpa further said that those who are sabotaging the development of BRGIE should stop.
“I get excited whenever our Biafra freedom awareness receives the attention of great people. Michael Johns has just followed me; he is an American conservative commentator, policy analyst, writer, former President George H. W. Bush speechwriter, and a leader and spokesman in the Tea Party movement.
“The former US President, Donald Trump, also officially announced him into his 2024 campaign team. I want to thank you, Michael Johns; over 3 million Biafrans in the US are sending their love. Americans made a mistake by voting out Trump, but today, many regret it. Donald Trump is needed to fix many broken walls globally. I appeal to those saboteurs in the Biafra struggle who are constantly distracting me from stopping so that these great men who are now following the Biafra awareness will be glad they did”, he wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
