David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, and other Nigerian music icons are scheduled to perform at the Dr. Alex Otti inauguration on May 29, 2023, at the Umuahia Township stadium in Abia State.
Phyno, an Afro pop rapper from the Southeast, and the Afro-beat artist whose family has a connection to Dr. Otti and his family are reportedly planning to perform during the inauguration.
Mr. Raw, Ruff Coin, and Rugged Man, who are all from Abia State, will also perform at the event.

Icon of stand-up comedy The event anchor is Bright Okpocha, also known as Basket Mouth.
He will guide a group of Nigeria’s top comedians, including Nedu Wazobia, Diamond Okechi, and Funny Bone, to entertain the guests.
According to J. Martins, who spoke about the event, the lineup of performers indicates that a new Abia has finally surfaced.
“For long, Nigerian international stars have yearned for a major gig in God’s Own State but that has not been possible due to the poor infrastructural development and lack of conducive environment for such to happen.
“The Alex Otti inauguration is hope rising for Abians and her citizens”.
