NUC Executive Secretary, Abubakar Abdulrasheed Resigns From Office

Prof. Abubakar Abdulrasheed, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), has announced his resignation from the Commission.

He made the announcement personally on Monday at the Commission’s offices while sanctioning the issuance of a temporary license to Kogi State University in Kabba, Kogi State.

He referred to the new university as his “last baby” in the Commission, having approved other universities across the country during his seven-year tenure.

Abdulrasheed did not give any explanation for his resignation.
