Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, commonly known as Trinityguy, has been detained in prison by the Oyo State Magistrate Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, for allegedly sexualizing a kid in his viral comedy video.
According to news reports, the Nigeria Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, asked for the skit maker’s arrest last week after a video of his risky pranks went viral.
The Oyo State Police Command said on Friday that the skit creator and parent of the small girl in the viral video had been questioned and will appear in court on Monday, June 26, 2023.

Oludare Adebayo, the defendant’s counsel, appeared before the Magistrate and begged the court to grant his client bail.
While denying the bail plea, Magistrate PO Adetuyibi stated that the allegation against the skit maker is currently being investigated by the state Ministry of Justice.
The judge, however, ruled that the parents of the small girl in the video, as well as Trinityguy, be remanded until the next session.
As a result, Magistrate Adetuyibi delayed the case till July 11.
