President Bola Tinubu appointed some media aides on Tuesday, months after his inauguration as Nigeria’s leader.

According to the list obtained by Newsmen, among the new appointees are veteran journalist Tunde Rahman, who has been designated as the Senior Special Adviser (Media); Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, who has been designated as the Senior Special Adviser (Print Media); O’tega Ogra, who has been designated as the Senior Special Assistant (Digital/New Media); and Tope Ajayi, who has been designated as the Senior Special Assistant (Media & Public Affairs).

Abdulaziz Abdulaziz

Abdulaziz Abdulaziz is a Kano State native. He has worked for Leadership, Blueprint, Premium Times, and, most recently, Daily Trust, from which he was selected to the APC/Tinubu Campaign Organisation’s media team.

He previously worked as a media aide to Nuhu Ribadu, the recently appointed national security adviser and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Tope Ajayi’s

Temitope Ajayi is a public relations professional and writer who worked on the Tinubu campaign and formerly worked at the Tinubu Media Office. He is also known to be associated with Tunde Rahman’s Western Post newspaper. He attended Lagos Business School and Obafemi Awolowo University for his education.

O’tega Ogra

O’tega Ogra was the BUA Group’s head of corporate communication prior to his appointment. He is a Babcock University alumnus who is well-known in the nation’s corporate communication field.

He previously worked at GTBank as corporate communications manager and Wema Bank as head of brand management and head of corporate communications and digital marketing unit before joining BUA in 2015.
