Simon Ekpa Tackles Emma Powerful, Says Nnamdi Kanu Not Connected With Criminals

Simon Ekpa, a popular Biafra agitator and separatist, claimed that Igbos are not committing crimes in order to free Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

In response to IPOB’s factional spokesperson, Emma Powerful, Ekpa, the Finland-based lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, announced this on Friday via his official Twitter handle.

Ekpa, on the other hand, stated that Kanu had nothing to do with criminals in the southeast.

According to him, Biafrans are not committing crimes in the region to urge for Kanu’s release, but rather engaging in peaceful civil disobedience.

He stated that sit-at-home has nothing to do with criminality in the southeast.

Ekpa reiterated the call for Kanu’s release before July 30, 2023.

“Disregard these criminals calling themselves IPOB. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has nothing to do with criminals in the South East. Biafrans are not committing crimes for Kanu’s release; rather, they are agitating for his release through civil disobedience”, he wrote.
