UPDATE: Governor Obaseki’s Convoy Trapped In Heavy Flood

Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, and his official convoy were reportedly stuck in a flash flood following heavy rains in the state.

According to news sources, a resident of the state was heard mocking the governor and his entourage in an internet video.

The governor’s motorcade was also seen attempting to pull away from the flooded road in the video.

Ahead Of The Heavy Rains, Anambra Residents Warned Against Flood

The man who mocked Obaseki claimed that the administration has refused to build good roads in the state and has reaped the benefits of the people’s hardship.

According to him, gridlock on Benin Sapele Road at the RCC axis was caused by poor road conditions, and multiple calls had been made for the road to be fixed but they have all been ignored by the authorities.
