Tinubu, Labour Leaders In Closed Meeting After Nationwide Protest

At the presidential mansion in Aso Rock, Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting with representatives of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

The elimination of the gasoline subsidy without proper palliative measures sparked protests by unions on Wednesday across the nation, according to an earlier article by Anaedoonline.ng.

Through a staged protest, the unions voiced their displeasure with what they perceived as the adverse policies of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

The TUC president Festus Osifo, the NLC president Joe Ajaero, and other delegates are present at the meeting.
