On a banner bearing a distorted image of President Bola Tinubu, demonstrators in the Niger Republic are shown in a contentious video that has been making the rounds online.

President Tinubu’s picture, which was on display and also serves as the head of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, was denoted with a cancellation sign.

Demonstrators scratched out “Bola” from the banner and replaced it with “Ebola,” renaming the Nigerian President in a noteworthy act of protest that was captured on film.
