Seyi Law, a well-known Nigerian comedian, has made fun of Peter Obi, the candidate for president of the Labour Party (LP), as the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) prepares to issue its decision.

In a post on the microblogging site Twitter, Seyi poked fun of a common slang expression that LP candidate supporters use to maintain faith in Obi’s efforts to retrieve “his stolen mandate.”

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, and Peter Obi, the LP’s presidential candidate, are presently contesting President Bola Tinubu’s win.

All of the parties participating in the election tribunal’s legal teams presented their last oral arguments earlier this month, and the PEPC, presided over by Justice Haruna Tsammani, adjourned for a decision.

The LP candidate is mocked by Seyi Law as he waits for the verdict: “Peter Obi is coming. He will shortly be in Lagos.

He responded to the criticism that his tweet received by writing, “Of course, he is coming to Lagos. You really read the entire tweet. Eeyahha”
