An irate crowd tried to kill a middle-aged man for reportedly robbing a commercial sex worker at Ojoto Lane, Mile 3 Diobu in Port Harcourt City Council of Rivers State, but he just averted death by whiskers.
At around 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, the man was caught by a crowd for robbing a commercial sex worker in one of the brothels on Azikiwe Road, Mile 2, Diobu, shortly after patronizing her.
The victim told the mob that the culprit raced out of her room after patronizing her and dragged her bag, where she usually kept her daily wages.

The sex worker claimed that she gave the suspect a passionate pursuit in an effort to recover the bag, but that the suspect leaped into a drainage pipe to avoid capture.
The Guardian learnt that the suspect was brought out of the drainage by the mob and was about to pounce on him when one, Austin Ibe and other landlords in the area prevented the mob from meting out jungle justice on the suspect.
The suspect, however, claimed that he decided to snatch the bag containing the money of the commercial sex worker because she did not allow him to ejaculate after he had paid for her service.
