Additionally, no food is entering, reports Turkish news outlet Anadolu.
The French consulates in other cities including Zinder and Dosso are engaging in the same behaviour.
Head of a national support group Elh Issa Hassoumi Boureima has requested that partners of French bases in Niger stop supplying food, water, and energy.

He was quoted to have said, “We ask Nigelec and SPEN (SEEN)) to cut off water and electricity in the French Embassy, in the French consulates of Zinder and Niamey.”
