Lagos Police Give Update On Mohbad’s Autopsy

The autopsy being done on the remains of the late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, was updated by the Lagos State Police Command on Monday.

The best forensic experts in the nation performed the autopsy, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command.

Family members of the late singer attended the autopsy, according to a post by Hundeyin on his X account.

He encouraged Nigerians to maintain their composure while they awaited the results of the autopsy.

Hundeyin wrote, “As assured by the CP, the autopsy was promptly carried out by some of the best forensic pathologists in the country, in the presence of family members.

“While we await the result, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process.

“There is absolutely no underhand dealing, as feared by some concerned persons. In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well.”

Recall that Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried at Ikorodu, Lagos State, the following day.

The 27-year-old singer’s passing has sparked outrage across the board, with Nigerians accusing his former boss Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry of being to blame. Both men have since refuted these claims.
