Following Naira Marley’s disputed denial of participation in the death of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, the notorious colleague of Nigerian musician Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, also known professionally as Bella Shmurda, tweeted a cryptic post.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Naira Marley denied any involvement, either directly or indirectly, in the killing of Mohbad in a statement posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, September 26 in the evening.

The musician claimed that in addition to being horrified by Mohbad’s passing, he was also alarmed by the falsehoods and threats made against him.

Naira Marley claimed he has been absent from the nation since August 31 but intends to return at the police’s invitation. The police are presently looking into Mohbad’s death and will work closely with the team conducting the investigation.

He continued by saying that he had no justification for fleeing because he had no involvement in the death and that the public will eventually learn the truth about how Mohbad had died.

The musician denied that he is a drug lord and that his record company is a drug gang.

Since he left the record label in September 2022, he said, he has never physically confronted Mohbad and has never given anyone the order to harass or assault Mohbad.
