Four Die, Three Injured In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Auto Crash

On Monday, a luxury bus collided with a truck on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, resulting in four fatalities and three people hurt in varied degrees.

The event in Abeokuta was confirmed by Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps’ Public Education Officer for the Ogun State Sector.

According to Okpe, the vehicle continued traveling after the bus struck it as it navigated an interstate bend around the “Kara” axis.

She also stated that there were 21 people, 13 men, and 8 women, involved in the disaster.

She said the corpses have been deposited at a morgue in the Sagamu area of the state, while the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital, she said.
